Please review the following before beginning your application:
Townhouses are required to go through the site review process in addition to building plans review. This is separate from the building permit review, but can be concurrent. In order to avoid any unnecessary delays, please read about Site Review Requirements and contact Tonya Young with any questions at email@example.com.
You may submit one application for multiple townhouse units, provided that the owner and contractor information is the same and that all of the units are attached. You will need to enter the address and estimated cost of construction of each unit separately.
Although only one application is submitted, if the townhouses are located on separate lots a separate permit will be issued for each unit. If all townhouses are on a common lot, only one permit will be issued.
Have the following information ready in order to ensure that you will be able to complete the application:
- The correct street address for each townhouse.
- The owner and contractor contact information.
- The contractor's license number and expiration date.
- A dimensioned floorplan for each level of each townhouse. The drawing shall label the address and/or unit name of each townhouse to correspond with any reference to that unit on the application. This will be used to ensure that the estimated cost of construction of each unit is correctly assigned. The square footage of each unit shall also be clearly labeled.
